Grant agreement signed with the Ministry of Economy

Investment in new energy-saving equipment at AUSTA Ltd.

On 9 November 2017, AUSTA Ltd. signed grant agreement No. BG16RFOP002-3.001-0084-C01 with the Ministry of Economy, Directorate-General European Funds for Competitiveness, for the project “Investment in new energy-saving equipment at AUSTA Ltd.” under procedure BG16RFOP002-3.001 “Energy Efficiency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises”.

The project is financed by Operational Programme Innovation and Competitiveness, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, with a total value of BGN 1,113,607.00 (BGN 669,039.18 European and BGN 118,065.72 national co-financing) and a duration of 18 months.

The project’s main objective is to increase the competitiveness of AUSTA Ltd. by optimising its production activities through the purchase of new assets with more efficient characteristics.

The main and specific objectives support the goal of the “Energy Efficiency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises” procedure by providing focused support for energy-efficiency measures, sustainable growth and economic competitiveness.

  • Reducing carbon emissions and delivering additional environmental benefits.
